Tobogganers really get their money’s worth on the Reiterkogel. The toboggan run is open daily and is also illuminated until 11:00 p.m. Use of the cable car is included in the valid ski pass! There are also sleds available to hire!
The dreamy backdrop of Saalbach-Hinterglemm’s mountainscape is really well suited for ski tourers, snow-shoe and winter hikers to get investigating. On Mondays and Thursdays at 5.00 p.m. there are guided snow-shoe hikes. Snow-shoes, poles and head lamps are available to hire on site. Those of you who would like to have a go at archery will find 28 targets, of various difficulty levels, at the archery course in Glemmerhof. After a short instruction session all shooters can have a go at the courses, most of which are in the forest.
And what is there for romantics? They can head out on horse-drawn carriage rides in the magical Hinterglemm mountainscape. And during a hearty stop-off in an Alpine lodge you can replenish your energy with all sorts of Salzburg delicacies, mulled wine and ‘Jägertee’.
